முகநூலில் (Facebook) - தமிழில் தட்டச்சி செய்ய இலகுவழி

பேஸ்புக், ட்விட்டர் உள்ளிட்ட சமூக வலைத்தளங்கள் நம்மோடு ஒன்றித்துவிட்டன. நாம் வேண்டாம் என்று ஒதுக்கினாலும் கையடக்க தொலைபேசி எமது உடல் உறுப்பாகி போனது போல இந்த சமூக வலைதளங்களும் ஆகிவிட்டன.

ஒருவர் தனக்கு தோன்றும் அல்லது கிடக்கும் தகவல்களை கையடக்க தொலைபேசி வாயிலாக குறுஞ்செய்தி அனுப்புவதை காட்டிலும் சமூக வலை தளத்தில் பகிரவே விரும்புவர். அதுவும் இப்பொழுதெல்லாம் தமிழில் பதிவுகளையும் பின்னூட்டகளையும் அதிகமாக காண முடிகிறது. இது வரவேற்க்கப்படவேண்டிய ஒன்றுதான்.

ஆனாலும் இதனை பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் விரும்புவதில்லை. காரணம் பின்னூட்டமிட இன்னொரு இணையதளத்துக்கு சென்று அதில் தட்டச்சி செய்து Copy, Paste  என்று பெரும்பாடு. இதுகுறித்து எனது நண்பர்களும் என்னிடம் விநவியதுண்டு. அவர்களுக்கு இந்த பதிவு பயனாக அமையுமென நினைக்கிறேன்.

சரி விடயத்துக்கு வரலாம். நீங்கள் பயர்பாக்ஸ் (Firefox) அல்லது கூகிள் குரோம் (Chrome) உலாவியை பயன்படுத்துபவராயின் இனிமேல் தமிழில் தட்டச்சி செய்ய ஏனைய தளங்களுக்கு செல்ல தேவையில்லை. உங்களுக்கு தேவையான தளத்திலேயே தமிழில் தட்டச்சி செய்யலாம். அதற்கு கீழேயுள்ள படிமுறையை பின்பற்றினால் போதுமானது.

நீங்கள் பயர்பாக்ஸ் (Firefox) உலாவியை பயன்படுத்துபவர் எனின், இந்த துணை நிரலை (Add-ons) தரவிறக்கம் செய்து நிறுவிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

இங்கு Google™ Transliteration மூலம் ஆங்கில எழுத்துக்களில் வழங்கப்படும் சொற்களின் உச்சரிப்பை ஒத்த தமிழ் சொற்களை பரிவர்த்தனை செய்து பெற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியும். ஆனால், இது மொழிபெயர்ப்பை நிகர்த்ததல்ல என்பதை கவனத்தில் கொள்ளல் வேண்டும்.

எடுத்துக்காட்டாக, நீங்கள் kavithai என தட்டச்சு செய்து, space bar ஐ அழுத்துகையில், "கவிதை" என்ற சொல்லை திரையில் நீங்கள் காணலாம். இந்த Chrome extension ஆனது, Google™ Transliterate API ஐக் கொண்டு பலப்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.



இங்கு தமிழ் யுனிகோட் (Tamil Unicode) முறையில் சொற்கள் மாற்றமாகித் தோன்றுகிறது. இதனை Copy Text to clipboard என்ற button ஐ click செய்து copy செய்து, தேவையான இடங்களில் Paste செய்து பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள முடியும்.

நீங்கள் தமிழ் இடைமுகத்திலிருந்து ஆங்கில இடைமுகத்திற்கு Ctrl+g ஐ அழுத்துவதன் மூலம் மாறிக் கொள்ளவும் முடியும்.

பிரவுசர் இல்லாமல் கூகுள் மெயில் தரும் Mozilla Prism

இன்டர்நெட் தளங்கள் நமக்குப் பல்வேறு ஆன்லைன் சாதனங்களைத் தருகின்றன. இவற்றை ஆன்லைன் அப்ளிகேஷன் புரோகிராம்கள் என அழைக்கின்றோம்.

இவற்றை இன்டர்நெட் இணைப்பில் அந்த தளங்களில் இருந்தவாறுதான் பயன்படுத்த முடியும். எடுத்துக் காட்டாக கூகுள் மெயில் நமக்கு இன்டர்நெட்டில் கிடைக்கும் ஆன்லைன் அப்ளிகேஷன்களில் பிரபலமானதும் அதிகம் பேரால் பயன்படுத்தப்படுவதும் ஆகும்.

இதனை ஒரு பிரவுசரைத் திறந்து அதன் மூலம் தான் பயன்படுத்த முடியும். இதற்குப் பதிலாக கூகுள் மெயில் மற்றும் இது போன்ற ஆன்லைன் அப்ளிகேஷன்களை இன்டர்நெட் இணைப்பில் பிரவுசர் இல்லாமல் தனியே ஒரு புரோகிராம் போன்று பயன்படுத்தும் வசதி கிடைத்துள்ளது.

இவ்வாறு இதனை மாற்றித் தரும் புரோகிராம் ஒன்று இணையத்தில் கிடைக்கிறது. அதனை எப்படி இயக்கி இது போல டூல்களை அமைக்கலாம் என்று பார்ப்போம்.

1. இந்த புரோகிராம் பெயர் Mozilla Prism.. இதனை https://wiki.mozilla.org/Webrunner என்ற முகவரியில் உள்ள தளத்திலிருந்து இறக்கிக் கொள்ளுங்கள். இது இலவசமாக வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இந்த முகவரியினை அட்ரஸ் பாரில் டைப் செய்து இதன் தளத்தைப் பெறுங்கள். அடுத்து அந்த தளத்தில் சிறிது ஸ்குரோல் செய்து அங்குள்ள கன்டென்ட் பாக்ஸில் Installer லிங்க் என ஒன்று இருக்கும். இங்கு Latest Version பிரிவு கிடைக்கும்.

இதில் பல்வேறு பதிப்புகள் தரப்பட்டிருக்கும். பல வகையான ஆப்பரேட்டிங் சிஸ்டங்களுக்கான மொஸில்லா பிரிஸம் புரோகிராமின் லிங்க் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். அதிலும் Zip பதிப்பு மற்றும் நேரடியாக இயக்கக் கூடிய exe பைல்கள் கிடைக்கும். exe பைலையே இறக்கிக் கொள்ளலாம் [EX: Install (Windows): prism-0.9.en-US.win32.exe (6.6 MB). ஏனென்றால் ஸிப் பைலை விரித்து பின் இயக்கும் காலம் நமக்கு மிச்சமாகும். இந்த exe. இன்ஸ்டலேஷன் பைலை உங்கள் டெஸ்க் டாப்பில் இறக் கிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.

2. பின் உங்கள் டெஸ்க் டாப் சென்று இந்த பைலில் கிளிக் செய்து மொஸில்லா பிரிஸம் புரோகிராமினை இன்ஸ்டால் செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள். இன்ஸ்டால் செய்த பின் Start கிளிக் செய்து All Programs சென்றால் அங்கு இந்த புரோகிராம் பட்டியலில் இறுதியாக இருக்கும். இதனைக் கிளிக் செய்தால் பிரவுசர் இல்லாமல் இந்த புரோகிராம் இயக்கப்படும்.

இந்த வேளையில் இன்டர்நெட் இணைப்பில் இருக்க வேண்டும். மொஸில்லா பிரிஸம் புரோகிராமில் மேலாக ஒரு டெக்ஸ்ட் பாக்ஸ் வழங்கப்படும். இதில் நீங்கள் எந்த ஆன் லைன் டூலை (எ.கா. கூகுள் மெயில்) கம்ப்யூட்டர் புரோகிராமாக மாற்ற வேண்டுமோ அதன் தள முகவரியை (எ.கா.www.googlemail.com) டைப் செய்திடவும்.

பின் இங்குள்ள Name பாக்ஸில் இதனைப் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் வகையில் ஒரு பெயர் (Google Mail) வழங்கவும். இதன் கீழாகப் பல வசதிகள் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வழங்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். இவை எல்லாம் ஒரு பிரவுசர் வழியாகச் சென்றால் என்ன என்ன வசதிகள் இருக்குமோ அவை பட்டியலிடப்பட்டிருக்கும். உங்களுக்கு என்ன என்ன தேவையோ அவற்றிற்கான பாக்ஸில் டிக் அடையாளத்தை ஏற்படுத்தவும்.

3. பின் இதன் கீழாக இந்த புரோகிராமிற்கான ஷார்ட் கட் கீகள் எங்கெல்லாம் ஏற்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என முடிவு செய்து ஆப்ஷன் தரலாம். டெஸ்க்டாப், குயிக் லாஞ்ச் பார் போன்ற இடங்களை முடிவு செய்திடலாம். இந்த புரோகிராமிற்கான ஐகானையும் நீங்கள் செலக்ட் செய்திடலாம். உங்கள் கம்ப்யூட்டரில் உள்ள சிறிய போட்டோக்களைக் கூட இதற்கு ஐகானாக வைக்கலாம்.

4. இனி இந்த புரோகிராமினை இயக்கிப் பார்க்கலாம். பிரவுசரிலிருந்து விலகி நீங்கள் ஏற்கனவே அமைத்த ஷார்ட் கட் ஐகான் மீது டபுள் கிளிக் செய்திடவும். வழக்கமான பிரவுசர் விண்டோவில் உங்கள் ஆன்லைன் அப்ளிகேஷன் திறக்காமல் தனி புரோகிராம் போல திறக்கப்படும்.

இதில் வழக்கமாக பிரவுசர் விண்டோவில் நம் கவனத்தைத் தேவையில்லாமல் இழுக்கும் தேவையற்ற பட்டன்கள் இருக்காது. இதனை வேர்ட், எக்ஸெல் போல ஒரு புரோகிராமாக இயக்கலாம். இதற்கான டேப் டாஸ்க் பாரில் இருக்கும்.

5. Mozilla Prism Online டூலை தனி புரோகிராமாக உங்களுக்கு மாற்றிக் கொடுத்தாலும் வழக்கம் போல பிரவுசர் மூலமாகவும் நீங்கள் ஆன் லைன் டூலை இயக்கலாம். மொஸில் லா பிரவுசர் மூலம் உருவாக்கிய டூலை நீங்கள் தேவையில்லை என்றால் அன் இன்ஸ்டால் செய்து கொள்ளலாம்.

பிரிஸம் பயர் பாக்ஸ் அடிப்படையில் உருவானதால் பயர்பாக்ஸ் ஆட் ஆன் தொகுப்பு பயன்பாட்டினையும் இதில் இயக்கலாம். பிரிஸம் மூலம் உருவாக்கப்படும் Online Tools எல்லாம் Web Apps என்ற போல்டரில் ஸ்டார்ட் மெனுவில் ஆல் புரோகிராம்ஸ் பிரிவில் தரப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

Norton List Top 100 most dangerous websites

Internet security company Norton Symantec has come up with a list of Top 100 Dirtiest sites, which could infect your computer with malware.

Malware is a software that can damage or compromise a computer system without the owner's consent.

Natalie Connor, spokeswoman of the anti-virus company, said that even visiting any of the named websites could expose a computer to infection and put the personal information into the hands of unwanted people.

"What people don't realise is when you type in a website, you're bringing down information on a page and with it could be malware," News.com.au quoted her as saying.

The list was compiled with the help of global data collected on Norton Safe Web, a site that analysed websites' security risks.

The infected sites had on average 18,000 threats and 40 per cent of the sites had more than 20,000 threats, while 75 per cent of websites on the list were found to be spreading malware for over six months.

According to Connor, most websites in the list had adult content with unprintable names, suggesting they contained hardcore pornography.

Some others sites include those on ice skating, deer hunting, catering and legal services.

Hackers can apparently obtain personal information using keystroke-logging software from both PCs and Mac computers.he reps said that hackers are a force to reckon with as cyber crime is increasing rapidly.

She added: "The last thing we want to do is scare people, we want to educate them so they know how to protect themselves.

"It's not about the fame any more of creating viruses and getting in the media. They're making money."

Just start slow and see what your baby will allow you to do.

5. Relax: Moms tend to get pretty antsy with their nursing babies sometimes. We want out bodies back, our time back, and our life back. 5 Tips for Buying the Right Laptop Computer

It’s easy to be intimidated by all the laptop models on the market today. There are literally dozens and dozens in every price range. 1. Size
